It wouldn't fit in a movie. Maybe someone should write a novelization. Can you read?

Going by the cutscenes in game I rather play a fun game of 'Hide the razorblade in your cornflakes' On a more serious note the Warcraft movie has been on the cards for god knows how many years and if that hasn't been made yet then Guild Wars doesn't stand a chance.

id like it but its not gonna happen, theres to much to put into a 2-3 hour movie, so it would end up just like lord of the rings.

Content removed, Edited by Faer: Caps are annoying, but don't lower yourself to that level.

A movie would suck because there is too much to put into a 2, even a 3 hour movie.

Wow, sombody didn't just go to www.maddox.xmission.com and copy that or anything.

A Guild Wars movie may be an ok idea. I would just like to see special effects with the skill we know. "Meteor to the face!"

and the problem with it is?

I'm not saying we wouldnt like to have one, its just that if it ever possibly happens, it would be a whole series of movies starring crappy actors such as Tom Hanks and William Shatner. In my opinion, it isnt worth waiting a year in between movies.

apparently you don't remember the good ol' mario brothers movie and how it flopped. i think the only one that was half way done right was teenage mutant ninja turtles. i'm sure there's some other movies that were made from video games but they all sucked as well. mortal kombat movies weren't really the greatest movies, good thing i never paid to see those.

Guild Wars movie?

Well its certainly linear enough for it but I don't think it should directly take place in the story. Show what happened before the player arrived. No live action and no outside help just have Anet make it like their C.G. trailers.

Not only would I not see the movie, my unadulterated shame at playing a game associated with such an inevitable crapfest might drive me to stop playing GW as well.

I think it's not a bad idea, but perhaps before a movie, they probably should try to make a novel out of it first.

Forget a movie. Lets get LIVE ACTION CUTSCENES to replace the current ones. Just like the classic Command and Conquer games.
